I’ve been obsessed with this hotel since my first visit, so it’s a given that I’m going to be a fan of anything extra they offer, be it a high tea (which I’m planning to review soon), or their spa. Or, if you want a foot massage with an exfoliation and a mask for the full 60 minutes, that’s totally doable too. A 60 minute massage is priced at R475, and you can customise this however you want, in terms of pressure, area and technique. If you just want butt and thighs for an hour as a cellulite reduction treatment (they don’t judge), that’s fine. What I love about Rain (I’m going to do a complete post about them soon because their concept is great), is that there’s a set price, with the only variable being time.
While hot stone back neck and shoulder massages are my thing, there are other people who like feet. Here is my pick of the top 5 massage spots in Jozi, and why each of them are amazing: I have a particular weakness for a hot stone back, neck and shoulder massage but I’m partial to other massages too. Between doing spa reviews for this blog and my general love for being pampered, I’ve probably been to most, if not all of the spas in Northern Jozi. I could be massaged every day of my life and not get bored of it.
